https://communitymedia.video/videos/watch/090ab663-ef5e-45c6-842e-7c87db0ce132 More than a decade ago, I was very disappointed about the amount of energy lost when Paramount decided that Star Trek Fan Films couldn't be ongoing series. Several legitimately wonderful creative works just disappeared over night. I was in the planning stages for a Star Trek fan podcast called Mission Report and, rather than sadly put it on the shelf, I decided instead to make my own Star Fleet, one that was willing to grapple with the neocolonialist underpinnings of the original work, and that was explicitly built on the foundations of Mutual Aid and Community. From that, we get The Space Corps and Jupiter's Ghost. In that world, we've released two podcast episodes, a short cartoon, and an original video game. We're working on a better cartoon, new and better podcast episodes, and a comic book. (We'll also be releasing some action figures before too long.) You can learn more at https://intergalactic.computer where you can also contribute to what we're doing yourself. We'll build the future together. (I made this trailer to play on our little TV at Designercon Las Vegas 2026, because there will be a bunch of new Space Corps and Jupiter's Ghost stuff happening in 2027.)
